Stored on your device

Your saved favorites (vocabulary word IDs) and your selected interface language are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server. Favorites are not synced across devices.

Platform processing

This app runs on the Base44 platform, which processes the requests needed to serve the site and its content to you.

Analytics

We use the platform's built-in analytics to understand aggregate traffic — such as page views and general referrers — so we can improve the site.

Google Analytics 4 is enabled. A consent prompt appears on your first visit; you can accept, reject, or change your choice at any time using the controls below. When consent is denied, no GA4 script is loaded and no data is sent to Google.

GA4 receives aggregated, non-personal events only: page views, topic views, language changes, pronunciation clicks, favorite toggles, searches (topic and result count — never the search text), and article views. We do not send your name, email, IP address, or search queries to GA4.

What we don't do

• We don't collect your name, email, or personal information unless you contact us.
• We don't sell or share data with advertisers.
• We don't record what you search for — search analytics only counts the topic, language, and number of results.
